Lamb Setts Sheffield is situated on the edge of the city in a village location which overlooks the beautiful green belt Moss Valley trail countryside.

The nursery has a large tarmac playground painted with interactive activities including a road system, garage, parking area, zebra crossing, number snake and hopscotch.

It also has a garden including 'mud kitchen' and planting areas.

There are mark-making areas, number games, mirrors, sand, bikes, trikes, weaving activities, den-making resources and many more.

There are two large grassed areas with climbing frames, slides and a seven-seater aeroplane.

There is also a paved patio area overlooking open fields.

We are lucky to have the shade of a large tree which makes the outside area suitable even on the warmest of days.

Children go out in all weathers and we have rain suits and wellingtons as well as suncream and sun hats.

The outside areas are set up everyday and planning ensureas that there are activities to help children develop in all seven areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
